Yes. I do think she's too young. She's still a child in the eyes of the law and you're an adult. If she was 18 and you were going on 21, it'd be grand, or even if she was 17, but 15 is just dodgy territory I think.

Well I wasn't necessarily thinking of this in a sexual way. Do you think that makes a difference?

I met my first boyfriend when I was 13 and he was 16, stayed together 5 years, wasn't sexual until I was 17, all I would say is as long as her parents are ok with it then I don't see any problem, but I would say meet them and speak to them.

I guess it does make a difference if it's above board and non-sexual, and at least you're asking about it and have concerns before jumping right in.

not very fair to the 15 year old boys.

can't see either of you mixing well with each other's friends.

Are you sure you're happy to go out with her and not have sex for at least 18 months?
Why don't you just wait until she's 17 to go out with her. That way you can have sex in the meantime, if you like, and people won't spread rumours that you're a kiddy-fiddler.

OT - OP 15 is a bit too young son! don't be worryin tho! If its meant to be it will be when she is at least 17!
