How to connect Windows 7 laptop to my iMac

    I'm trying to copy over video files from my iMac (Snow Leopard) to a Windows 7 laptop. I've Samba file sharing turned but I can't get the two to see each other.

    Can someone please help? It's driving me nuts.

    On the same workgroup?

    Once you know workgroup in windows, on mac side go to network pref, go to advanced, and go to WINS and put in workgroup see if that helps
