Crystal Castles 2010

    The second album from electro punk band Crystal Castles went on sale virtually on Friday 23rd of April 2010. I wanted to know if anyone else has downloaded this album and what do they make of it?
    I personally love it. Being a big CC fan, I was very excited to see what the rest of the album would sound like after hearing the first release off the album titled 'Celestica'.
    I enjoy every track excluding 'Doe Deer' which I feel the vocals are absolutely dreadful. Thankfully it's the shortest track on the album.
    Even though practically the whole album is a total knock out, tracks I would recommend are 'Baptsim', 'Birds', 'Celestica' and 'Pap Smear'

    I like it, but its not as good as the first album. for me, what i liked about the first albumw as, being an old school geek, the music all sounded like music from Atari ST games thanks to the modified synth the guy uses.
    Theyve done away with that 8bit bleepy sound on this album and i miss it. Celestica is a standout track, but the rest is merely okay.

    It's a very good follow up to the first album.. my favourites on this one would be "Doe Deer" is a whopper! "Empathy" is class, and "Baptism" is pure Crystal Castles sound. very good album... will be listening to this for a while i'd say... and cant wait to see them in october !
