A hand with car selection?

Want speed but something that doesn't stand out a mile and relatively new. Here is my list , any1 any others they would add to the list?
(Octavia is a no-no , don't like French cars),

Going to spend around 20k...

Mazda 3 MPS hands down... if you dont want to stand out a mile the focus probably isnt the best idea. MKV GTI would be my second choice (or first choice if youre only going by whats on that list)

Seriously, try a Renaultsport Megane...It will probably change your mind on the frogmobile bit...other than that the ST would get my vote

If you do end up seriously considering the RX8, make sure to read up on it. There does seem to be a good few running cost/depreciation/mechanical issues floating around.

Search the forum for some of the lads who've owned RX8s and maybe send them a PM.

Check out a Leon FR too. They are serious value at the moment. You'd get an 08 for well under budget and with a much higher spec than a Golf on which it's based

Get yourself a 123d bmw and get it remapped to 265bhp and still get 40-50mpg.
No one is going to give you a second look in one and it has a great rear drive feel. My wife has one and its great:)

There is a young guy around here has one (vrs) and is the envy of the "Boy Racer gang"
