    Hi, when posting images, can folks keep embedded images (ones that use[noparse][img][/img] tags[/noparse]) to about 800 pixels wide, so as to not overly disrupt the page flow? Images are perfectly welcome and add a bit of clarity and colour to discussions.

    This is perfect http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=65562853&postcount=120

    This is a bit big, but it doesn't disrupt the page too much: http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=65560727&postcount=117

    However, one pic posted yesterday (Hi monument!) was 3000 pixels wide and I couldn't find the right hand side of the page. :)

    When quoting images, especially larger or groups of images, it is useful to change the [noparse][img][/img] tags[/noparse] to [noparse][url][/url] tags[/noparse]

    Victor, is it possible to add syntax to the [ img ] tag to specify the size rendered?

    Sorry, only seeing this now. As I understand it, no, but I will inquire.

    Just get someone to add the css:
    .page .alt1 img {max-width:800px;}

    That'll work for nearly every modern web browser out there
