A neighbor of mine told me the other day that you cannot bring cattle into england for the Perth cattle sales. I know you can buy cattle in Perth and bring them back to Ireland though.

Is this true? I always thought you could.

If you can, what is the best way to go about doing it?

Would bringing them to Scotland not be a better idea?

    Hi

The Perth sales are now held in Stirling a new facility was built there.
As far as I know you can export cattle but if you dont sell they have to stay in quarrantine for 3 months (because of the risk of bluetounge) and in a lairage at approx £2 per day before you can bring them back.
Same thing if you buy an animal there has to go to lairage for 3 months.
