My son is looking for holiday visa for america. He wished to travel across america with friends who are playing in 9 states. he wonders if there is any special kind of "artists" visa he could get? why do bands do when touring another country?

Bands and musicians can get specific visas for performing. However, the friends of said bands and musicians wouldn't qualify.

How long is he intending to go for? Normal Irish passport holders can enter and remain in the USA for up to 90 days, visa free for tourism purposes.
