I think this guy deserves a thread. New album 'The Wild Hunt' was released on April 13 and it's a cracker.

    The title track is fantastic.

Just discovered this chap! good stuff, usually someone who sounds anyway similar to Dylan pisses me right off but not him for some reason

Thought there was one song on the Fionn Regan that was very Dylan that it annoyed me a bit.
Guy on Phantom was very complimentary about the tallest man on earth on his show on Sunday.
This is a good tune to be fair.

Another indicator (for me) that after the U.K & U.S, Sweden is the best place on earth for music.

Agree completely - and it's true in all genres of music

He's playing Whelans on June 10th, should be a good gig.

    Heading to this later tonight,

    Hired Hands 8.45
    Tallest Man on Earth 9.30

Cool thanks, are you sure it doesn't start til that late.

Doors open at 7.30 i thought?

Saw an update from state on Twitter this morning. May not be 100% accurate. Although Whelans must know now that we are all "cool" and will inevitably be fashionably late. 7.30 is a smoke screen :)

    Enjoy the gig

ah no, should be great, cheers!

Good gig last night. Although, was stuck behind some knobs who would not shut up and I couldnt see much. No wonder small folk like me have inferiority complexes. :)

yeah it was a great performance. I was also stuck behind idiots who were not at all interested in the music. why did they go!?

I also found it strange that their were a number of really tall people in the crowd. perhaps they were mislead by the name & thought it was a competition!?

I think it's an excellent album. The Gardener is probably my favourite track by The Tallest Man on Earth. Album highlights also include Pistol Dreams, The Sparrow and the Medicine and Shallow Graves. Well worth it if you're planning on getting it.

I also absolutely love his cover of Paul Simon's Graceland. You can download it here.
