Personally I'm neither anymore. Not necessarily through choice.

I'd like to think that I was both, but which is the predominant factor?

Basically what I'm asking is, "If you were given the choice between spending fifteen minutes of quality time with Liz Hurley or Michael Fingleton, which would you choose?"

After watching this film, I'd rather run than fight (at least from an east London bouncer!)

Heh mate. Good to have you back. Is it Rose of Tralee time yet? My question wasn't really aimed at you. I know you'd kiss Fingleton if there was a chance of giving Liz the hiding she so richly deserves.

I punch women while shagging them. I fall between the two stools.

Not many people responding proudly with a definite "I'm a lover!!". If asked a few years ago, the majority would respond with lover

Seems the old question "Are you a lover or a fighter?" is no longer a popular question to answer, may insinuate something about the poster...kinda gone the way of calling someone a fag doesn't necessarily mean you are calling them homosexual

These phrases come and go - Only last week a guy asked me to do him a "solid" and was shocked when I handed him a fresh turd

Well i'm definitely not a fighter, hate having arguements with anyone.

I said "I'm a lover not a fighter" once when I was 14...Being 14 I got mocked a fair bit for saying it

But ya still keep to that,I have a friend who says nearly any night he goes out"I'm in the mood for a fight"...tis effin retarded.

And the other day I saw some effin scumbag take out a knife! If I saw or passed a guard I would have pointed him in the direction cause you always see this guy around cork city...sounding like an ole man but "Up to no good"

I'd love to hammer ten shades of shíte out of Fingers Fingleton and his €27,000,000 pension and his €1,000,000 performance-related (Jesus wept; what a disgustingly corrupt society we live in) bonus.

First one, then the other. Not necessarily in that order.

I'm a lover.... Not like "Yeah, I'm a lover, I ride loadsa burds wha blughhhhhghg".... I'm not a fighter by any stretch of the imagination, so I'm a lover by default.... ;)

I'm a lover, and i'm quite caring when it comes to my friends, but if i saw someone messing with one of them or taking the piss out of them, I will beat the living **** out of that person.

    I'm neither...

Lovers are sissies & fighters wind up in court with public disorder charges. :pac:

I'm no fighter by any means. I'm not much of a lover either but I'd take love over war any day of the week.

Naw ..I just use the casting couch :pac:

dont like the fighting just for the sake of it although as being mentioned , some couples loving activities revolve around the ' fight , bite yer lips till they bleed ' kinky sex and gawd help anybody coming between them

I wouldn't say I'm one or the other tbh. Ideally I want to get along with everyone - be it in a relationship or with friends or whatever. But I'm no sheep, and refuse to agree with everything everyone says and tend to speak my mind a bit. I've a fiesty temperment and that has both its positives and its negatives I guess.

My ex loved when we had a fight ;)

Yeah I'm non confrontational as well.

However I will do what is necessary when it comes to defending myself or if I ever saw someone being attacked I would try to aid them as best as possible. Other then that i'm not the fighting type.

(I hate myself a little bit)

Post fight sex is always great, but you can't be arguing all the time.

    Happy medium ftw!

Surely being good at both is the way to go? ;)

To be a good lover and a good fighter you need passion. You need fire in your belly to be good at both.

I want to say Lover but it sets a scary precedent. I don't want my Doctor to poison me,.

That's the ideal , nobody wants a yes man or womon , somebody who has no ideas or opinions of their own , who cant or wont stand up and fight their corner when they have to .

My ex loved when we had a fight ;)

Sometimes you gotta make them fight for it ;)

Bit of both, depending on mood and context....
That would be norm for myself and many others I would think

The best kind of lover of them all ,working for it, not giving in either way and knowing in the end it was so worth fighting for .

Life without passion is like living in fear of death , you never let yourself go.
