Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but I will anyways!! I'm using a Smart modem at the moment but to be honest the wireless on it is fairly poor. I have a wireless router (Peak) and I want to set up a bridge so that I can use the wireless from that, but I'm not sure how to do it on the Smart modem.

    Any ideas?

i have a similiar setup, which might help you.

I have it set up like this.

phone socket >> filter >> telephone cable >> smart modem (non wireless version) >> ethernet cable >> eircom netopia wireless router + netgear wireless router >> wireless signal to 10 laptop's.

i configured the eircom router to act as a passthrough bridge, with wireless encrpytion and mac address limiting on it.

the netgear practically set itself up for me.

    works like a charm.
