I recently installed a Philex/skyline reciever (model no. 28203R). Is it possible to set up a second TV off it using a magic eye?

There is a "loop out" port beside the "dish in", could it be run off this??
    Thanks in advance

No you cant run an Magic eye from this receiver. The loop out is basically to feed an other digi box. But doing this it has its limits.

Thanks for that scaller..I assume i can split the cable coming from the dish rather than bringing a seperate cable form the "loop out" port on philex reciever?

You can't split the cable from a satellite dish as you might with an aerial or cable (Cablelink, NTL etc.). The LNB, on the satellite dish, is pretty much an extension of the receiver and the receiver sends power to the LNB at different voltages depending on the polarisation. If you did split it and add another reciever the result wouldn't be the best!
If you want to have more than one receiver from one LNB you would need to either replcae the LNB with a dual, quad or octo LNB or add a multi-switch. A quad LNB is fairly cheap to purchase but it might cost another few quid to get someone to fix it, align it and run the cable.

    Is this what you meant?

I tried the Tri-link on a phillex receiver before with out success. I swapped the Phillex for a Technomate and it worked fine.
What Azzertti suggested would be the op's best bet.

phillex receiver has a scart ??
then the RF modulator with IR Transmitter and Digital Link Eye (Triax Model: 370229) will work.

The OP could also run a cable from the tv/rf out on the receiver {some of the Phillex receivers have one}. to his second tv and a get a pair of these http://www.aqudos.ie/product/Powermid-XL-Remote-Control-Extender-System/product_details/.
