My new build parts arrived during the week, and I started putting it together last night. The only thing I have a concern about is the i5 and the connection on the ga-h57m motherboard. I had to put a bit of pressure on the arm to get it to close - locking the cpu into place. Is this normal?
I spent a while lining the chip up correctly.
Just wanted to check before I switch it on.
    Cheers!

Yeah it takes a reasonable amount of pressure to get the lever arm locked down, it did for my Q9550+P5Q Pro and I'm sure things haven't changed since.

Thanks for putting my mind at ease. Going to turn it on tonight, and if it works I'll post some pics in the build section. :pac:
