    Hi There

My position was made redundant and I was offered alternative employement in a position that was going to be vacant in June, lower wage and job.I was just in the stages of being trained in for 2 days when I changed my mind and decided to take my redundancy which I knew I had 4 weeks to change my mind as emplyment rights told me and I never signed a contract for terms of new position, they are giving me my redundancy OK,question is will I get a RP50 or a RP6 form from them and will a RP6 form affect me getting my JSB straight away or will I have to wait 6 weeks.coz I turned down alternative employment.

If anybody knows this for sure please let me know

    Thanks a million

As far as i know, a RP6 form is just a waiver of your 2weeks or whatever notice.
If your employers are giving you redundancy, you won't have a wait for JSB unless the redundancy package is over a certain threshold.

How long were you working there? If it was more than 2years you should've got your redundancy at the same time you got your p45.

I was working there over 2 years, they're not the most efficient of companies!I opted for my redundancy early this month and just got my p45 this week, i will get my redundancy end of month as I started alternative job begining of this month.it's just that when i went to the dole they said they needed a RP60.
