Need help with shoes!

Hey!

I got this gorgeous dress in Karen Millen and I really need shoes to go with it! It's long on me, past my knee. There are shoes that match it in the shop, but at €175, I'll have to pass!

I'll be in Dublin city centre tomorrow. Any ideas what style to get? I'd like them to be pretty versatile for other outfits too....

i saw a pair in clarks today that are a similar deep purple for about 40 euro. i would bring the dress with you though to make sure you're getting the right colour. maybe try the shoes in karen millen so you know your size and search for them on ebay

I would go for metallic grey or silver with it, that way they'll match lots of other things too. Either round toe peep toes or they same style as the matching ones.

You're spot on! Metallic grey or dar silver, strappy and high. A high heel is a must to show off the sleek line of the dress.

Thanks! I ended up in Korky's - got a pair of light grey/silver strappy, peep toe sandals with a dark diamond T bar. Valentino Conte (some cheap high street designer I assume). Only €35! Heel's just the right side of comfortable too.
