What are the rates for B.T.E.A?

    I can't find anything online.

    Thanks.

It's the same rate as someone would get when on jobseekers or whatever qualifying payment they are using.

Sorry to drag off topic, but out of curiousity, if you're not entitled to a welfare payment, do you still get paid for BTEA, or is it unpaid (ala FAS courses)?

    Thank you Carol.

Does €196 from a FAS course count as a SW payment?

If someone did a FAS course during the summer and was paid by FAS and not the SW, would they qualify for B.T.E.A?

    Thank you.

If you were a jobseeker, switched to Fás and back again, your total time would be counted (but you have to be unemployed for 9 months on top of other conditions).
