So I picked up the Monitor after hearing all the good reviews, but wow just such a fun and listenable album. The amount of energy in the songs (especially from the drummer!) is wonderful. Loving Richard II and Theme from "Cheers" in particular. Any other fans? Highly recommended album, not sure what genre to call it (quite punky) but definitely one of the most pleasant musical surprises in a while!

Shame they're bypassing Dublin on their European tour.

I don't have any of their albums but I was in love with their (eponymous) songs 'Titus Andronicus', which was just exploding with energy.

They sound like Gordon Gano getting beaten up by Dropkick Murphys......and the theme from Cheers isn't the theme from Cheers......I felt cheated enough to post it on an internet forum. This post in fact.

Picked up their albums yesterday, great stuff! They sound a lot like Desaparecidos to me, vocals sounds a little like Conor Oberst.
