    Remember this whopper? http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055801836

I think i have somone who may be their equal.

A friend of mine, just a few minutes ago was telling me of their work in FAS, in a town that shall remain nameless, (no not athlone)

Anyhow his job is to get people bback into work by finding them a type of job they may suit them and get them training or to place them on community type jobs (something to that effect). He would deal with alot of people that are doing the course to enable them to continue to receive job seekers benefit, alot of them would be drug users and sent from the court to do community service rather than sent to prison.

One week he said they were given the task to plant several thousand flower bulbs in a community, the FAS employee told me that he was there to show them how to plant the first 500 or so.. fairly simple.. dig a small divot in the soil, place the bulb in the divot, bed it in, and move on six inches and repeat..

They soon ran out of bulbs and the FAS man sent one of the chaps to the store to get more bulbs "Go to the storage and get me more bulbs"

1 hour later the young chap returns..

With a box full of Solas 100 Watt light bulbs.

    You think thats bad....

Was working on a site once and there was a foreign fella there, German I think, bit harmless. Seemingly the week before we were there he was instructed to go fill the dumper with diesel. He returned 20 mins later with a full dumper-bucket of diesel!

When i did work experience as a chef, they tried catching me out with the usual tricks all the time but i had been well warned!
Pity the fella training with me wasn't, felt sorry for him when he spent 20minutes trying to find a bucket of steam for the head chef :D

An aunt of mine used to think that "money laundering" actually involved putting money in the washing machine.

Works every time TBH. It's great, if you steal a load of money from a stripper you can just do that and it comes out crisp so it won't look like her money! :D
