Your Most Delayed Rejection Notification

    Today I received an e-mail saying thanks but no thanks for a job I applied for back on April 7th 2009. That's over a year ago! I am pleased that they got back to me as most companies don't bother but what is the point in sending a rejection notification that long after the application?

    Anyway, has anyone else got any interesting timespans been between applications and rejections?

    Wow that is a long time, I have often had a month or nearly two months in between the application and rejection letter/e-mail.

    I havent gotten a rejection letter in months upon months....never mind an interview :(
