    Hi, Im a student in maynooth and awaiting my final installment. I was wondering why Meath are the last in giving out the grant cheques to the college?

    Its now the end of april, and we only have a month left in college so why so late?

    You'd probably have to ask Meath County Council about that. I remember last year I only got my final installment from Westmeath County Council in the very last week of the semester, their excuse was that they were waiting for money from the government or something.

    Anyway, hope you get sorted soon, its not a great situation to be in.

    Yeah I was asking the same question...why ours last? I gave the council a ring there on friday evening and the secretary told me they had them sent in the post and that they should arrive next week. Typical for Meath to be last sending them in though!
