    Hi

Not sure where to park this. A French student is working with us as part of a work placement for the next five months. Poor chap is totally on his own in Ireland and his French isn't great. Has anyone any ideas of foreign student clubs or societies that he could join. He is in Dublin.

Posted this in languages - French but not a dickie bird.

try the universities maybe...they might give you contacts for french students that are over on exchange with them, or might have Irish students who wouldnt mind meeting up with him to practice their french!

Hiya, maybe the links above would interest him. Try Alliance Francaise too, they might have some ideas for him. Also Fafies (a creperie) on Kevin St is very popular with French people so if he pops in there they might point him in the right direction

Perhaps as a French student, his English isn't great, not his French!
