there seems to be a lot of salons charging varying prices, id like to get it done in a good salon, and for a good price (dublin area). i got quoted 250 from Zoo but have heard you can get it done cheaper. any suggestions?

You should get it cheaper than that nowadays, I know lots of (good) salons are doing it for less than 200 euro now. My sister had it done in Khaki in Tallaght for 170 euro a while back and is already looking to book in to have it done again in July she loves it.

I know that Noel Higgins in Blackrock quote from 150 euro and I've heard of one or two bigger salons in town being a bit more reasonable with it too.

Shop around and I'd say you'll get better value for money out there ( although 250 doesn't seem too bad compared to some of the prices I've heard people paying)

Is it definately worth getting done though? I know a girl who got it done and i cant notice much difference tbh.

My hair is shoulder lenght and is virtually straight anyway - hers was similar.

I just cant see enough of a difference to justify €250 - whats yer opinions?

Sorry if its the wrong thread for this! :D

I have similar hair to you and was asking my hairdresser about it during the week. She told me that it was totally pointless getting it done on mine. She said that unless my hair was very frizzy I wouldn't notice the difference.
