Im currently using an e61 as a bluetooth modem with 3. speed is slow but thats down to the bluetooth connection, not sure if the technology speeded up since. I used to put credit on a dongle but got fed up switching sim cards in my phone to use net when Im out so now I just buy mobile net for 9.99 a month, limited to 1gb tho :(

    Check your Phone spec...
It could be limited to 350kbps.. Or even 115kbps.

Aslo unlikely that receiving or making calls work. For very occasional use, maybe Ok, for regular use you want a proper up to 7.2Mbps full spec HSPA modem (PCI-e card, internal card, USB and even PCMCIA versions).

I know my E65 does about 350K max as it's only GPRS, EDGE or 3G basic, no HSDPA, HSUPA or HSPA
