I don't care what anyone says. Those Hitler parodys are fantastic. :D

I've never thought they were funny.

    What exactly makes them funny?

Hitler's epiphany when he finds out his xbox live account is closed/Ireland is out of the world cup through handball/ Many many many others. :D

Just the way his hands are shaking adds to the parody.

There is only one that I found funny. It was about Dundalk which made it relevant to me!

    He had a medical condition.

There, bet you feel terrible about laughing at the poor man now, right??

All those movies and not one Oscar nomination - that's why he killed himself.

I feel absolutely devastated that I dare insult the man himself. :(

It's great because it is a superbly acted scene (imo) and to stick something inane in there makes for more lols. + it's Hitler, so lol x 10.

If you didn't laugh at the Wolfenstein 3D one, you have no soul. There I said it!

I saw the movie way back when it was released and that scene was absolutely amazing. I wonder what its like to have seen the parodies and then watch the movie for the first time. It would really take away from what is one of the stand out moments of the film.

Nonetheless I love some of the parodies but as with most things, as numbers of them increased the stupidity of them also increased.

It's because Hitler is a clown. A clown there to amoose you. That's what makes him funny.

In the US, parodies are protected by a 'Fair Use' clause and not subject to copyright laws.

Since Youtube is hosted on US servers (I think), they shouldn't have to comply with such takedown requests. However, Youtube seems intent on appeasing commercial interests who pay for ad space rather than keeping the actual users happy. That's the damn 'Google' effect...

It's gotten pretty old, sick of them damn things at this stage.
It's a bit of a stupid action trying to get them taken down though, gives them more publicity. Not to mention the fact that the internet loves to screw with people and trying to stop something by force usually just makes it worse.

Hopefully a grouop of cat owners get together and look for lol cats to be removed. The world will be a better place.
