Hi I was at this last year.

It was on a friday, so i had to go down thursday night to Tralee, for the first part, where you meet all the other candidates and get you case study and an intro to the company and what you will be doing for the assessment.

You will be given a case of issues to read over and get familiar with. When you go in the next morning you will be given half an hour to prepare a powerpoint of all the issues and then present to two assessors. During the presentation, the assessors with ask questions and create role plays
For example oene of the issues i had to address was about product shrinkage and when i got to my recommendations for this, the assessor assumed the role of a foreman who i had to try and implement my recommendations to, it was hard, so be prepared for stuff like that.

You will have a group exercise, where all the candidates are given a case study and half an hour to study it and then as a group make recommendations and so on.

Finally their is an intense 45 min interview with two assessors who ask all the normal stuff and specific stuff. Know all about Kerry group as much as you can and know your CV off by heart.

It all long day and the assessment day is not really run that well, you are left hanging around for alot of the day. I was left waiting for 3 and a half hours after my morning presentation that started at 8am, then nothing until 1pm, so it can be a bit of a drag.

Its very intense and for wahts on offer i don't really think its worth it. Last year the package was basic and you were placed in Tryrone in a small factory.

    Hope this helps
