    Hi Guys,
    Has anyone got any reccommendations for a automation system for my new build? I've not got an electrician yet. I've looked at 2 systems so far and both look great, just looking for another option or 2. If anyone has some experience they'd like to share about different companies then please send me a PM.
    Thanks,
    Clint

    You could look at combining with your alarm system using <SNIP> Which incorporates good X10 control,

    My advice. Don't use a sparky. Get someone with experience in what you want done. Is it tv/Audio/lighting/security/what?

    Thanks, tbh I know that i can easily get a sparks to do a great job in a straight forward wiring job. The thing is I want to spend a few (?) extra quid on exactly what you've said....tv/audio/lighting/heating/security etc. And to me this requires some expertise. If there is a few other companies that people have experience with out there can you send a PM please.

    I have done work with these in the past.
    <SNIP>
    They are very good at intergrating audio/visual with intercoms/ alarms etc.

    Try <SNIP>

    They will be doing my installation in a few months.

    P.S i'm related to the owner
