Sports in HD on DTT

I know they tested it a mere 3 years ago and RTÉ HD is supposedly being launched next year, are there ongoing HD trials you can access on DTT now? My pipe dream is to be able to watch sports this summer in HD without getting a freesat box.

My pipe dream is to be able to watch sports this summer in HD without getting a freesat box.

No HD trials on DTT now, they are concentrating on rolling out the existing channels in SD. Don't expect HD on DTT until analogue is switched off (late 2012 probably), so 2013 or later for HD depending on the economic climate.
