Im thinking in the evening, around 7-10pm does anyone have any suggestions for a nice coffee in a quiet enough location?

    Cheers in advance

Unfortunately, I don't think that there's a place in Dublin that fulfills your criteria of nice coffee; opening until 10; being quiet and being situated in Temple Bar.

Taste of Emilia on Liffey street meets two of them. It's open late and has relatively good coffee, but it certainly isn't quiet. A hotel bar would probably be your best bet but the coffee will most likely be of a dubious quality and expensive.

The Westin has a much nicer bar than Buskers. The Clarence is another option. If the coffee isn't great the Westin and Clarence do good cocktails anyway!

It's a pity that you're after coffee as the quietest place I know for beverage consuming near Temple bar would be the Tea Garden on teh quays.

It's very quiet and great place to get away too, with an abundance of teas.

Maybe put an espresso in a hip flask and sneak it into the tea cup ;)

I know it's too late now, but there's a Turkish café in the Italian quarter run by a Tunisian guy called Amir! It stays open very late.

Also too late, but just in case you're looking again try out 'the joy of coffee' or i think it's now called 'brickalley cafe' to the west of the temple bar square. Opened till late (after ten pm i think), serves good coffee. Quite a nice place to sit and relax!
