Statute of Limitations scenario

    Statute of Limitations scenario

A Journeyman abroad receives from home a Court order allocating him and two others equal share in the family home property.

The share is placed in a parent controlled pooled administration to protect the home from a hostile takeover.

The journeyman returns and wants to know the securities of the pooled share.

This is met with derision and hostilities and legal action is taken against the Journeyman who then goes away on another contract.

Secrecy surrounds the death of the administrator and the Journey man finds our years later that a “will” had placed the shared pool as the sole property of the resident survivor.

On receiving the late news the Journeyman writes a letter in advanced of a home visit.

In return from a solicitor’s letter is stated:

“You have no legal right to enter the property” and

“if you present yourself at the premises uninvited, will be an act of trespass.” and

“Gardai will be immediately be summonsed to deal with you.”

Would you say there are Statute of Limitations and the law in respect of adverse possession?

This is getting ridiculous, this is the third thread started on this forum by this poster in respect of the same query.
