learned a lot of new stuff today which i would never have considered, cleared up a lot of confusion and thankfully an end to the triangle debate:) difference between back mount and hooks in was especially an eye opener along with the advantage when going from side mount back into half guard with a tie score scenario.

great learning experience and thanks very much liam for going to the trouble of putting it all together

    great job mate

    No worries, Francis

Thanks to everyone for making the journey to Cork City. Hope it was beneficial to everyone. We have 30 Certified IBJJF Referee's now across Ireland.

Here's the Group Photo of all the Folks who attended with the IBJJF Technical Director Alvaro Mansor.

I've also supplied the details of everyone who attended to Alvaro, so we'll have everyone on record.

Thanks for running this Liam, was an excellent course and great to clear up some misconceptions.

One of the best things about the day however was that there seemed to be several people from every BJJ gym on the island here... just going by people I know personally there were guys from Pedro Bessa, Gracie Barra NI, Revolution QUB, Revolution Dublin, Informed Performance, SBG, Defend U, Next Generation, Kyoujin - and those are just the people I recognise :) Really cool to see everyone coming together like that.

None of us actually talked to each other all day. I could barely eat my food at lunch because I was trying to keep eye contact with 29 people.

Thanks again Liam. An eye-opener for sure!
