deutz engine parts

    was wondering if anyone knows where i can buy a second hand fuel pump for a deutz 3 cylinder air cooled engine. its in an ingersoll rand p130 mobile compressor.

    We have the much same compressor(its a bigger p260 with the 4 cylinder turbo), its not often that one of those Deutz's goes wrong, they are generally very tough. Try Pat Conaghty in Kells, he might have one off of a scrapper.

    Did you try Walsh's in Castleisland? They should be able to help you.

    Only saw this now.

    It is more likely that the stop solenoid has failed. It is about 40mm in diameter and inbehind the cowling at the front of the engine. If you take the mechanism off the front of the solenoid and refit it then it will start.

    IIRC you will be able to knock it off by hand instead
