I think my ps3 if fu%ked

The last couple of days its really acting up :mad:

Its frozen 3/4 times , sometimes when im playing the game theres no sound ............like you can hear all the gun shots , flash bang but you won't hear stuff like "enemy predator missle" imbound ......enemy pavelow imbound . Stuff like hearing you teammates dying around you (you won't hear), may seem like shag all but it actually helps .

I'm not sure if its the PS3 or if its the games itself.............the game looks ****ed tbf , theres two line running right around disk :eek:

Sounds more like an issue with the game rather than your console. Do other games play alright on it?

Im not sure to be honest , I'll have to check it out . It doesnt happen all the time .......I get the "out of memory" message after ever 4/5 games too which is very annoying

the same thing happend me with my old ps3,but with fifa 10, then after a while it started happen with all my games,i think ur ps3 is shagged mate,try the game in your mates ps3 to be sure,is it the old fat ps3 u have?

ya , its the fat one .......the disk looks shagged too

it could be the disk,but i really think its the ps3,if u read up about it,it happens to alot of the fat ps3s, with my one it started with fifa, sometimes it would freeze at the menu's then other times it would freeze when its loading or showing the developers,other times when i got into a game first thing that would happen would be the commentary would go, so u could only hear the crowd,then the scoreboard will go,then when the game finishs it freezes. eventually the games wouldnt start.

After that it started happen all my games, i think its sumin to the with the blu ray player in the ps3, the best thing to do is bring it to your mates gaf,see if its doing the same thing, but i really think its your ps3,the old fat ones eventually die out, its happend to two other of me mates too.

I had the blu-ray replaced recently

maybe its time to trade it in for a slimline one :pac:

Creasy, maybe it's time you actually tried:

a) Another game in your PS3
b) THe COD disc in another PS3

Until you have answers to those questions, the rest is just pure speculation.

update : so i played mw on it today for an hour and the ps3 worked fine , just put mw2 in there and first game no sound and the ps3 froze after the game . Started up again and its working grand
I actually think its a combination of the ps3 and the game being shagged
