    Hi,

So I won an auction on ebay around the middle/end of last month. I paid for it directly after winning.

Since then I haven't received the item or heard anything from the seller after contacting him twice.

Just wondering what my next course of action is? I'm aware that I must open a complaint with Paypal.

Will I get my money back via the paypal guarantee?

Any experiences here guys? The item only cost me around a tenner or something but that isn't the point.

    Thanks.

Start a Paypal dispute, and escalate it to a claim. You should receive your refund within about 10 days.

Is it that easy? I'm pretty sure my account is verified but if not will that make a difference?

Yeah just make a claim against the seller since he won't respond. Check the sellers rep and see if there known for scamming.

But it could be just a problem with the shipping since all planes were grounded for a week and the mail rooms are back loged with mail and also depending where the item is coming from, like if it's coming from Japan or China it could take between 8-25 business days to get to Ireland.

    Ok,

Well first off the seller is in Kilkenny so I don't think the air freight is an issue.

I just checked his feedback there and there are 2 new NEGATIVE posts on his/her feedback. Both mid April so it seems i'm not the only one who got burned. One guy paid for €150 for an Acer Aspire and is waiting on a PayPal refund.

I will raise a dispute with Paypal at the weekend as I don't have login details with me.

    Cheers.
