I was thinking of booking 2 weeks in the Le Ruisseau campsite in the south west of France near Biarritz. However I've just read some bad reviews in Tripadvisor - overall score is not to recommend this site. Has anyone used this site and if so what is your feedback. Thanks

I stayed there a few years ago and liked the site and the area, however it is in the foothills of the Pyrenees and the site itself is very hilly which may not suit some people. My biggest gripe was the weather in that every morning there was a fog/mist which didn't clear till about noon. One of the things about camping in France for me is getting up to the sun and having the breakfast and every other meal outside. En plus the the scenery and beaches and massive waves are great. Personally i'd recommend the Perpigan side of the Pyrenees due to the guaranteed sun. Bonne chance
