    Well, for the last 7 years or so on this forum I've gone for Higgins and I don't really see any need to change it. :)

    Robertson/Selby/Ding should all have a say aswell, but I just don't fancy Ronnie to go far. Having said that, upon seeing his performance when he plays Liang on Monday I may change that view. It's so hard to tell which Ronnie will come out.

    It is very open though.

    I personally think this cud be mark allens year, hes defo a future world champion and some may think its not his time yet, but hes proven he can beat the best and loves playin at the crucible along with the fact he looked awesome in his 1st round match against tom ford.
    Hes definitly a very good outside bet to win it...you heard it here first!! ;)

    I think Selby is looking on top of his game. I know Doherty wasn't at the races in their match but thought Selbys safety was top class and he's good amongst the balls as well. I'd like to see him do it this year. Class player.

    Surprised nobody has said Stephen Maguire. Hes always there or there abouts, hel eventually win a World Championship. Is he not playing well?:confused: He has a handy enough section I think and should get to semis. He was 16/1 at the start of the tournament!

    Yea your spot on there, I have him and Ali Carter backed!
    He's actually drifted out to 20/1 without playin a game:confused::confused: likely to meet Mark Allen in the 1/4's then O'Sullivan/Selby/Williams in the 1/2's if he gets there..

    as much as I like robertson he hasn't got the complete game to win this yr

    I can see Maguire or Murphy doing the business but I'm going with Ronnie, if the man plays to his ability no one has a chance but its a funny ol game

    would love williams or higgins, two legends, though i think higgins is more likely. in saying that, i dont really mind who wins as long as its not shaun murphy, i cant stand him!!!:mad:

    Anyone but O'Brien, he really is awful to watch, average 31 secs a shot!!
    He's a nice guy but is really really boring.
    An outsider I fancy if you can call him that is Mark Allen, he's a great talent and judging by his first round match seems to be in great form.

    No1 wud have convinced me otherwise selby was was gonna win. I always thought he wud. He wud have thought we were gonna see a rejuvanated Dott who actually made a gud go of it. Still made the final drab tho.

    Gud on Neil. Delira for him. Hope it does a load of gud to the game in Oz.
