Starcraft 2 Beta Keys from GameStop

    I'm one of the unlucky ones who never got a beta key :(

    Anyway on the GameStop US website and stores they have an offer that if you preorder Starcraft 2 from them they'll give you a beta key, but you cant cancel your preorder(online only) HOWEVER if you walk into one of their stores in person you can put a fiver on it and get a beta key. Anyone know if they'll have this over here too?

    Wouldnt mind spending a fiver to play, even if it is only beta.

    why not just order it online with gamestop?

    gamestop usa ship to ireland. $74.99 shipping to ireland.

    I wouldn't order from the states, it's likely the cdkey would only let you make an account for the US servers

    Anyway I went into gamestop in letterkenny during college lunch and they hadnt a clue what I was talking about. Oh well.

    USD though; and if you liked SC you're likely to love SC2 from all the beta reviews I'm seeing. Then again I'm one of those people who've played, and bought, every Blizzard game since Warcraft 1 and known I'd get my money's worth and more.

    Only reason I'm not playing the beta is because I don't want to spoil it in advance (taking a few days of for a long weekend of 24/7 SC2 ;) )

    Yeah don't buy it online unless the box is an EU version. You'll only be able to log in to US servers.
