What charges can assault get you?

    I was assaulted yesterday at lunch time in school,about 5 minutes from the school im almost 100% sure it was right in the field of view of a garda camera i was hit 5 times,i never hit him back once so that was all on camera.He ran over to me and hit me,if i report him do i have to go to court to press charges? I know his full name and where he lives.


    What charges will he get? He is a nacker and already has a curfew because he got caught robbing a house.

    It depends on the guy who assaulted you. You will have to talk to someone in your local garda station. You may have to go to court alright.
