Hero Gmail problem.

    Hero with stock ROM from meteor on meteor network.

    Gmail is not getting mail automatically. I have to go into the ap and manual select update for it to fetch mail.

    No option to clear cache under manage applications for gmail, or gmail storage.

    Problem is the same over WiFi, and 3g.

    Any ideas?

    Sounds like you need to check your sync settings. Go into settings and accounts and syncs and from there you can set how often your phone syncs with gmail and facebook.
