engine for corsa 1.0ltr

    a bit of help needed,looking for an engine for a 03 corsa.my girlfriends car went into the garage yesterday(towed) and the mechanic told her that the engine was ****ed and needed a new one.i know the fella and he is far from a con man and is a v good mechanic.so he and we are looking for an engine.cheap obviousy and a good one.

    any advice?

    I was gonna buy a used one from a place in england but worked out cheaper to fix my own, They seem pretty decent when i was talking to them, i did some research and they seemed genuine. they are called http://www.morgan-autosalvage.co.uk/

    oh and the other thing,would i be waisting my time ringing the opel dealer where she bought it and giving out.she bought it in march 07.

    Yes but they will deliver, I know they deliver to Galway.

    Was it bought new?
    If it was bough second hand then I wouldn't hold my breath, but I would give it a go.

    ye 2nd hand.oh il ring and have a moan,thats for sure,like everybody else in her family have bought cars off them before.thet get great buisness from the family thats for sure.
