I thought all that stuff was a red hearing on the whiteboard but
Could PI be a clue to Flocks real name?, sounds like to the end of Ep13

I didn't like how they said
They have explained the numbers as much as theyre are going to. For such an important part of the show, I think thats an absolute cop out. So many questions...why were they on the hatch, on the medicine, why was there a radio broadcast of them? etc. etc.

There's already a thread on the whiteboard image. It's potentially very spoilerish, so people should avoid zooming in.

Yeah the numbers were a huge part of the show, but their running out of time now, I'd love to see a show which went back in time and and showed how important each number was to each person but with every show having to use up half the time with a FS it's not going to happen.

It’s like when you spend time with a 3-year-old, you quickly find out that one question just begets another — there’s a “why” in the wake of every “why” — and the only way to end the conversation is to say, “Oh look, a Chuck E. Cheese!” The show is doing its best to say, “Oh look, Chuck E. Cheese!” For example, we’ve now given the viewers as much as we’re willing to say about the numbers, and we’re moving on.

Anyone else find this quote a little worrying? Sounds to me like the sideways might be the writer's version of Chuck E. Cheese. Ie. throw in a completly new concept in the final season which they have thought through and they can answer and hopefully those annoying fans who were misguided enough to expect coherent answers to Season 1 - 5 will be drowned out by the three year olds who are blown away by how they wrapped up the sideways.

Will season six end up making sense of how these two timelines fit together?
Damon Lindelof: That, to us, is the only answer we owe.
i.e We wont be getting many answers as they obviously dont have any answers as they were making alot of it up as they went along.

For Lindelof to consider that to be the only answer they owe the audience is mind numbingly arrogant of him. And very very worrying for how its all going to end.

I always felt this would happen. Look at how the original prisioner ended. Many people have drawn parallels between the two.

Lindelof is a self-obbsesed nihilist. He is cocky, arrogant and stuck up ins own a hole! Im not surprised by this comment.
