Remote Control for SL65 needed

The remote for my Silvercrest(LIDL) receiver just stopped working yesterday. I changed the batteries and pressed different buttons, but with no luck. Where can I get a new one, or does anyone have one they don't use?

Do a search on ebay for "remote silvercrest" - lists some. I can't recall what the SL65 remote looks like though so not sure if they look alike....

I might, note that's might have one in a storage box somewhere around the house along with an SL65 that I don't even use any more and never really have. Will have a look for it later on when I get home. If I find the remote, it's yours. If you need the box for spares/repair or anything else, it's yours too.

Hmm, that's the remote that came with the SL65. I will double check at lunchtime that is definitely is the SL65 I have then, I'm sure it is, but better safe than sorry!

Anyway, I'm in Armagh, so unless you fancy the drive up, perhaps you might want to PM me your address and I can stick it in a jiffy bag and post it to you if indeed it is the remote for an SL65.

That's the SL55 I think.

I think the Silvercrest SL65 is a re-badged Comag SL65

If you search for a Comag SL65 remote, you might find one that will work or get the codes that will work with a universal remote.

If you have no luck sourcing a new one online then you can make a reasonable substitute by using the learn function on one of the universal remotes that aldi and lidl sell. You will need to borrow an SL65 remote from someone in order to teach the universal remote though.

Thats the same remote as my Comag SL35.

My mistake, my box is an SL55, not an SL65. I honestly don't know if it will work with an SL65.

Yeah, I don't know what to do now. I think I'll just have to buy a universal remote and try and find the code for the box, but from reading on a few forums, it's hard to get any that work.

hi. try genuine copies on ebay. i got two of them last year. they dont look the same as the original. but they work okay
