I assume it is in line with the time bar rule of one year for application of admission.

Best way to find out is ring them.

You have a year from the end of your contract to get it submitted. You also have to pay membership fees of around 850euro to the institute on an annual basis to be admitted. They should have sent you an invoice by now.

I am submitting my diary in the next few weeks, has anybody ever had their diary rejected? I kept to the institue guidelines as much as possible but dont know if they will be happy with my entries, I didnt go into too much detail on them.

I too would love to know the answer to this as I haven't been the best at filling it in tend to fill it in every 4 months or so, but find it near impossible to get my mentor to sign off on it.

Submitted mine there a few weeks ago, got word yesterday it was accepted. Had to stump up €1600 (2008 & 2009 subs + admission fees) for the privilege as well

If it's the manual diary you dont need to submit the daily breakdown with your applicaiton, just the summary page signed by the mentor

Mine went through first time no hassle - haven't heard of anyones that has been rejected - I'd say as long as you pay your fees your CA diary will be no problem - ICAI is all about the money
