Hi, I got an American wii fit plus (only the board & a couple of games) as a present, I forgot that the games don't work here in Ireland, but do you think if I buy Games here, would the board work with my Irish Wii or would I just be better off selling it or returning it to sender?
Really don't know what to do

Pretty sure that peripherals are not region locked, but to be honest you're better off returning to sender and buying again over here.

Then again, you might be able to pick up the games by themselves preowned for next to nothing over here so it might be worth hanging on to the board...

Thanks tman, would be handier to keep it as it was a present & can't afford to buy the lot. Only thought, I have a friend who has wii fit, so might ask her can I borrrow her game & try my board with that.
Will let ye know what happens :D

It was a present, it would be kind of rude to return to sender!
