Has anyone any idea when the CDVEC will be sending out the grant cheques? I've been told that they are usually one of the last to send out the cheques and i'm flat broke

They put mine into my bank account on 15/4/2010. Check to see if it's in the Registry, and if it's not then ring CDVEC.

There's still 2 or 3 counties to give out the 3rd instalment..It's a joke!! When I rang Sligo they said they were waiting on the money from the government and they couldn't say when the 3rd instalment would be out :(:(

Still no joy with the cheques. I'm currently on my INTRA so i can't get up to college. I keep ringing them cos the portal page thing never seems to get updated. i think they're getting annoyed. Fair enough but i have had to get two CU loans to pay rent. i tried ringing the CDVEC themselves and they were rude and wouldn't answer me when i asked when and if they'd be sent. what happens no that the semester is over? i know there is exams and stuff

If you're due and entitled to a third installment payment, then you'll get it. You should to take a half day off work and go down to the CDVEC office (Pembroke Place, opposite Clyde Lane at Herbert Park).
