I have never done any audio/video editing, ever. Sorry if the quesetion is dumb...

I was looking at buying a budget camcorder to record music classes and concerts.

Then I came across this which has fantastic audio reviews, but poor video reviews.

The Zoom would allow me to get a separate cheaper portable camcorder like this which is poor on sound but acceptable on video.

Would it be much of a problem to record with both and merge the sound of the Zoom with the video of the Kodak? Video can be turned off on the Zoom.

I chanced it and got the Zoom Q3, so we'll see.
