There sturdy, not too heavy on gas usage, decent range and full auto is just fun. Extended mags are a must for it (if you’re going to fire on auto) and for them you'd need an SMG mag pouch to carry.

Bare in mind that they do tend to need more maintenance as your putting a lot more bb's through them than a normal single action pistol.

Personally I've dropped mine twice now onto gravel and bar some scratches there’s no issues.

The "JG" one in that review is discontinued as far as i know and to be honest the KWA/KSC version is the way to go!

just to add, i have one myself for over a year, lovely weight, perfectly balanced with the standard mag, not so much with the 50 rounders but not that bad, nice range, very easy to maintain (everything cept that blowback mech is fine to take apart, i dont like things with springs:P )
all in all it a really lovely yoke, plenty of spare parts and upgrades
(have my eye on one of those chrome slides:cool: )

If you go for a G18c, be sure to threadlock the allen key under the rear sight to prevent the fire selector falling out. its a very common problem with this pistol and easily avoided with some tweaks before ya use it. :)

Same here, the selector switch dropped out of mine as I was firing it last week. I lost the small cross bar and the ball bearing. I'm trying to find somewhere that sell the switch on its own or even with a metal slide pack but it looks like I'll have to gt another Glock 18.

try ehobbyasia..they've loads of glock 18 accessories like grips and slides.

    Now the G18c itself...
as Drachien said you need to look after it...a common issue I've seen was gas venting after one shot..
Root causes was the firing pin sticking, screw no 18 (under the rear sight) being loose, magazine not making proper contact and the slide sticking.
However all are easily solved and in the case of mine I just removed the slide, sprayed silicon oil over it and worked the slide a few times....she's now working perfectly :)
Full auto is a blast..and get the 49 round mag..it's a pity they can't be tripled stacked so as to keep the mag the same size as the 26 round one, as the extended mag is nearly double the length of the standard.

Another option to the G18C is the M93 also made by KSc...the reviews on this are fantastic but the barrel is abs i think so you need to upgrade it..I've yet to see a bad review on the M93.
If you're left handed (like myself) I suggest the m93..the G18 feels a small bit off in my left hand or maybe it's the selector switch on the left of the slide throwing me off but something bugs me about it...if you're right-handed it's perfect.... the M9 (same body as M93) fits absolutely perfect in my hand..it's like I was born with it :D

Jayziz no, dont buy another glock. lol

That bar can be made very easily, I've replaced it in a few of them with a piece i made myself, only took a few mins. the ball bearing a an easy one to get but id reccomend getting one slightly bigger than original, it locks into selector plsitions much better then. :)

I think I'll have to drop it in to ya from some TLC. I hate looking at it with that hole in the slide where the selector switch used to be, it was the best and oldest Glock in my collection .

The slide is handy enough to do, although i wouldnt reccomend it if you have a history of fecking things up if ya get me. :D

That frame takes a fair bit of tinkering to get it right. Not reccomended for the novice imo. :)

Just paint your original lower. :)

I painted this one a while back and its still perfect, with proper prep it'll look perfect.
