You too can have fake windows!

This seems like a really cool product (if ya had the cash)
Golden gate looks great, I'm just wondering what else I'd like to see out my fake windows:confused:

    I like!

Reminds me of Arnies apartment in Total Recall.

Sydney Opera House or the hanging gardens of Babylon?

That's really cool. It'd be great having it on at night to brighten the room up.

    wtf is with the baby??

Are they hinting at people being able to pretend they're Michael Jackson without risking their child's life?

People have been doing stuff like this since the Wii was released, but this is a particularly cool use of the technique. And the baby's a great touch.

The iPhone doesn't affect the perspective, it just stores the image menu. That thing hanging from the baby is basically the same thing as the Wii sensor bar you stick on the top of the tv. I dunno what would happen if you had two in the room. I've never been in a room with two Wiis, maybe the Wiimote only affects one of them.

The Dublin version has probably got a brick-wielding junkie burglar climbing onto your virtual window ledge.

Do Rock n Roll stars have to throw a glass window pane out this?

That is one f*cking stupid idea that's actually pretty cool at the same time!

We're semi-basement - I wish this was a lot cheaper! I could really use a "window" (wiindow?) at the far end of our kitchen/living room.

Yeah. It would only possibly work for one person. It updates the image out the window in relation to where the person with the sensor on them is standing. Would look odd to anyone else standing in the room.

Oh man, I want one. Does it come with blinds or curtains? That would be authentic, I'd put it on the wall with the curtains pulled all day :D

OP reported to Microsoft's legal department for trying to flog pirate copies of Windows.

It's thieves like you that mean the rest of us honest people have to pay $600 for a genuine copy! Have you no shame?

Looks neat but it would be a bit of a downer everytime you walk outside and are reminded that your view is actually of an oil tank and a pair of boxers swinging around on a clothes line.

Could trick you into thinking your somewhere else for awhile..then when you go outside realise you havent gone anywhere exicting.

I'm wondering if it's a two-way thing, where someone with an actual view of the Golden Gate bridge, can look through his fake window, and see someone scratching his balls (or whatever) in a bedroom 6000 miles away.
