    Hi,

Got the o2 mobile broadband thru carphone warehouse on Sunday - i had hoped to try the trial that o2 offer but they hadn't any in the shop.

Got the Sierra wireless modem: at 49 euro

Anyway - while it does work, it really isn't good enough speed wise for what i use it for and i will have to stick to (reluctantly!) NTL broadband.

Am i right in thinking that i have 7 days to cancel the contract & will i get a refund on the modem off carphone warehouse?

    Thanks

The 7 days thing is for distance selling, i.e. buying online etc. I don't think it applies as you bought it in a bricks and mortar shop. But check the documentation that came with it or give O2 a call and ask them

There is a 7 day cooling off period for all new bill pay accounts.

All contracts come with a cooling off period, incl when you take a loan out.
