    Hi,

Does anyone know of any half-marathons in July? I know there is one in Clontarf on July 4th but I can't make that. Are there any others planned that anyone knows of now? I appreciate it's early but trying to plan training and events for DCM!

Even a 10 miler would do!

    Cheers in advance...

Costs €50 to run it. It's in Roscommon on 24th July. Goes from Strokestown to Roosky through the back roads.

There is a list of half-marathons with links to the relevant websites at http://sites.google.com/site/runninginireland/half-marathons-in-ireland

Brilliant, thanks for this. I hadn't heard of the Running in Ireland website and it's exactly what I am looking for.

I have signed up for the race series and while it's great, I think I would prefer to do a half marathon earlier in my training to see how I am getting on. I am doing the Kildare Half (1st half) in a few weeks time so I would like to keep this level of fitness for a while and then up the mileage slowly but surely! Does this make sense? It's my first attempt at the DCM so all advice very welcome :)

Will def check the bogtrotters site out.

    Thanks again!
