    Hi BunnyFox,
Steer well clear. I'm currently working in Solutions. Big issue is pay and promotions. Career ladder in solutions is very long compared to consulting.
You could end up working with consultants with less technical skills, who are on 10-15k more than you and who will gain promotion a lot faster. Pay seems to be below market rates. Training is ok but can be a bit of hassle to get. Good to get the name on the CV and then head elsewhere. Which is what I will be doing shortly! Consulting grad prog starts on 33k this year, I am on 1.5k more (or thereabouts). Otherwise the people are very nice. Social life is good, and some good work practises. For a first job out of college, you could do worse.

    Hope this helps!

Hey there - thanks for the info... I actually ended up getting the ATS job, but got offered a job by Microsoft shortly after and took that instead! I had heard many bad tales about ATS to be honest, but I guess there are bad stories about every company, thanks for getting back to me though!

I went for an interview in accenture a while back. After the screening interview they...guided... me into an ATS interview the following week.

I wasn't interested in ATS at all as the interview was pure programming questions (even though I did computer science) and I was hoping for the Systems Integration type role with them.

I'm looking into IT Consulting but of course peoples experiences of the various firms like Accenture, Deloitte, PwC, Bearing Point and so on are very mixed.

I've heard bad things said about Accenture on a regular basis on Boards, not much is said regarding Bearing Point though. You'll always get differing opinions obviously
