How do I sell my art?

I was wondering are there any sites where you can advertise your art to sell (other than eBay!), or anywhere in town that do open exhibitions to help unknown artists sell their stuff, or just to get a bit of exposure?
    Thanks!

There's some online auctions that specialise in art

but in fact, why not check out general sites like eBay just to see what other people are doing?

Place in Meeting House Square (Temple Bar) that would be worth visiting / contacting.

You could try a few fairs about the place (Xmas is the best time and there's plenty of posts about fairs on boards.ie).

Two Dublin artist's who found it hard to sell their artwork took it upon themselves to set up their own fair. Ailbhe O'Connell and Louise Gambrill set up a great event called The Crafty Market www.thecraftymarket.com
